Near my house there was a park naming “Rose Park”, where thousands of roses, contend in fragrance and fascination, can always attract colorful butterflies and make visitors refreshed.

Every day at nightfall, I take a walk at the park, when the roses blossom, I watch them happily and sometimes bend down to pick up the faded flowers on the ground and put it into a little basket. I can always see pairs of sweet lovers and couples walking together along the curving paths of that rose park.

Sometimes I think: “How wonderful if the rose flower will not fade ! Why the rose must fade? It means all the love just like the rose, beautiful for a while but fade away soon?” A will-not-fade rose just like a will-not-old girl, seems only exist in a fictional fairytale, I wondered if the forever love is also only existing in a fairytale. I didn’t believe in “everlasting” “heart and soul”, I think love is a rose in the wind, thus I admire the beauty of rose, but don’t really like it and I never bought a rose.

Whenever romance comes, my heart touched and sweet; whenever love goes, my heart broken and sad. Love just came and left, like the roses blossom and fade until my heart numbing, no excitement, no sadness any more. Who believe there’s a lifetime love ? I received many
valentines gifts
including many bunches of roses, but I felt pity for the beautiful lives, for I know they are soon to die.

Yes, I’m a poet and I always think myself a gloomy poem, sometimes I think maybe it’s just because I’m a perfectionist, but disappointed to find there’s no perfection in the world.

He fell into love with me at first sight because of my poetical temperature any my touching sweet singing. I felt he’s strong affection to me. He’s handsome and honest, I’m lucky that the god gave me a prince with his heart and soul.

I took him to the rose park and told him my story and my thought, my regret, but his response was out of my expectation. He said:“ There’s will-not-fade rose in the world.” I shook my head and said no. Then he took something out from his pocket and asked me to have a look. I think I saw a flower, exactly a rose flower, it has the distinct flower veins and it’s the red of a rose.

“Wow!”I screamed, “Is it a rose?” But when I touched it and put it into my finger, I knew it’s not a simple rose but a ring, the flower edge even plated with gold!

“How can you make it, is it made of real rose flower?” I asked with surprise.

“Yes, It’s made of real rose flower. Because I love you deeply and truly with my whole heart and soul, I can do it.” He said smilingly.

“Where did you find it?”

“Because I know you want a rose that can never fade, I found it ! I just want you to know that I can do anything for you with all my efforts.”

I got touched, I accepted the beautiful rose ring, and from the depth of my heart, I accepted him.
