But we still have the need to belong to something. So we rely on the various groups presented to us via the media and dress and act like those groups. Now these groups can be pulled out of thin air or they can be an actual group that is just falling into our visibility for the first time.
So when people want to understand why depression, school shootings and other social ills take place-don't look to a political party-look at our media.
