I do not say so because my life has just been in jeopardy, or any other inane reason. I say so because, standing here on my balcony, I can take the time to appreciate the marvelous work of Dio - God.

The warm breeze seems to touch everything in sight - the dark green olive trees, along with the light pink cherry trees, bending gently in the wind as the many ripe grapevines rippled and waved beneath them. The golden sunshine cast light upon everything, making the dusty dirt path out to the pond glow. If I squinted my eyes, I would be able to see the low shimmer of the water from between the many bushes and trees.

I sighed and rested my head against the cool stone of the balustrade, my hair falling around me.

I know it's short, but I just want to get some feedback to see if I should continue my story. Thank you!

You have good imagery, yet the beginning sentence doesn't flow. It was difficult to read but other than that it's a nice start. Try reading aloud, it will help you with sentence structuring(some run-ons), and watch your pastence and presentence. Other than that it's good:) Keep writting! The more you write the better you'll get.

Add a semicolon on the third line b/t the words everything.
and making. Also at times you were a bit redundant with words. For example. "Dark green Olive trees" and Light pink Cherry trees". Olive is a color which is green so it as if you were saying green green tree. Same with pink and cherry. Instead, just say dark olive tree and light cherry tree. . . . . When describing the grapevine in the wind, maybe use one verb (ripple/wave). This is all advice to help make your paragraph flow. . . . . With the last sentance add something to connect the two fragments.
