Avoi M. Dunlap, 94, formerly of Claysburg, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012,

in the Red-colored Stone Highland Home, Greensburg, carrying out a lengthy illness. She was

born April 20, 1917, in Mt. Union, the daughter from the late Grover and Cora

(Whitsel) Moore. She's made it by two sons, Jan F. Dunlap and wife, Sandy,

of Greensboro, N.C., and Eric R. Dunlap and wife, Judi, of North Huntingdon

four grandchildren two great-grandchildren a sister, Christine Weyandt, of

Atlanta, Ga. along with a brother, Durrell Moore, of recent Oxford. She was preceded in

dying by brother, Edmund Moore and ex-husband, Robert G. Dunlap. Avoi would be a

1934 graduate of Greenfield Township Senior High School and then the Altoona School

of Commerce. She was utilized by the Blair Co. Office of Economic Chance

for several years. She was part of Claysburg U . s . Methodist Chapel, where

she was mixed up in Sunday School and offered because the chapel treasurer for

a long time. She loved her family, her buddies and her chapel. Buddies will

be received from six to eight p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at LESLIE-

Burns FUNERAL HOME, Claysburg. Funeral services is going to be held ...
